Global Warming Prevention Activities
The Seiren Group is committed to reducing CO2 emissions by fuel conversion from coal and heavy oil to liquefied natural gas (LNG) and biomass as well as manufacturing process streamlining, loss/waste reduction and energy saving equipment introduction.

Recycling-Oriented Society Creation Activities
The Seiren Group is committed to contributing to creation of a recycling-oriented society by recovering waste emitted or discharged from its facilities and regenerating and reusing it as an important resource to the maximum extent possible.

Pollution Prevention/Biodiversity Conservation Activities
To comply with multiple laws and regulations requiring us to control chemical substances contained in our products, we at the Seiren Group have formulated "Green Procurement Guideline" to establish a system for control of chemical substance content in chemicals and materials used in our production not only to secure the safety of our employees, but also to meet our customers' requirements in this regard.
In addition, we are committed to reducing emissions of VOC and PRTR (Pollutant Release and Transfer Register) substances from our facilities for reduction of environmentally hazardous waste to prevent pollution and conserve biodiversity.

In recent years, with excess inventory and mass disposal of clothing considered a significant social problem, reduction in clothing waste and loss has been regarded as an important challenge for the apparel industry to address. Through its Viscotecs system, the Seiren Group has proposed a clothing manufacturing concept based on "manufacturing exactly what customers want exactly when they want it, as much as they want it", contributing to the apparel industry's sustainable clothing manufacturing.

Lamitect® Premium Thermo
Designed for use as a house wall substrate sheet, Lamitect Premium Thermo is our original product based on a special durable aluminum-containing film, characterized by its long-term thermal-insulating performance, realizing reduction in house heating and cooling power consumption.
Roof Lamitect® Z
Designed for use as a house roof substrate sheet, Roof Lamitect Z is our original product based on our special polymer waterproofing technology, realizing non-asphalt (lightweight) highly nail-hole sealable roofing substrate material.
Designed for use as a material for outdoor clothing including skiwear and board wear, BARREL GREEN is our unique moisture-permeable waterproof product based on the use of naturally-derived coating material allowing reduction in CO2 emissions generated when disposed of by 30% to 50% compared to its conventional counterpart.
Developed for use as eco-friendly automotive upholstery synthetic leather to replace genuine leather and PVC, QUOLE is a new material surpassing genuine leather, characterized by its lightweight, contributing to vehicle weight reduction.
Designed for use as a covering material for automotive seat and steering wheel covers, QUOLE MODURE is characterized by its temperature control function, helping prevent these automotive components from becoming hot in the summer and cold in the winter, thereby reducing the car interior sensible temperature by 2℃ to 4℃ with a resultant 10% reduction in air conditioner operational energy.

Designed for use as a weed proofing material, GRASS GUARD is a sunlight-shielding highly dense fiber sheet designed to maintain its weed proofing performance over a long period of time without using any weedicide.
PAUL-RHEN is a durable water-repellent material completely free of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) chemicals raising concerns
about their adverse effects on the environment.
Water Resource Utilization
The world has seen increased population and advanced urbanization, while witnessing the existence of many people and areas still continuing to suffer from poor access to safe water. The Seiren Group is committed to contributing to realizing sustainable water resource utilization.
FIBER WEED is a cord-like fiber material designed so that when used for microbial treatment of wastewater, the material can support a large
amount of microorganisms, thereby helping enhance the efficiency of their purification of the wastewater to an exponential extent.
Reverse Osmosis Membrane Spacer
Our reverse osmosis membrane spacer is a seawater desalination plant material selected in construction of a world-class seawater desalination plant.
Our original composite antivirus technology "BYERUS" allows us to offer a high-performance antiviral mask designed to inactivate 99% or more of the virus deposited on the mask.
Developed by Seiren's textile/metal composite technology, Plat is a lightweight and soft electrically conductive material, finding its wide application in a variety of fields including household electrical appliances, smart phones and electric vehicles as it is capable of shielding more than 99.9% of the harmful
Fraichir is Seiren's proprietary textile finishing technology to convert fabric material into a high-moisturizing skin-friendly comfortable product, allowing it to find its wide application in innerwear, sportswear, skincare wear, etc.
Developed by Seiren jointly with Professor Hiroki Ohge of Hiroshima University Hospital, Inodore Quick is fast-acting deodorizing material, finding its broad application in various fields including nursing and medical care.
