On February 4, 40 students of Fukui Prefectural Koshi Senior High School visited Seiren and received training. This high school is one of the Super Science High Schools, which are designated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology to carry out investigations into the development of future school education curriculum for junior and senior high school students with emphasis on the science and mathematics and effective methods of collaboration and cooperation with universities, research institutions, and corporations.
Our training was one of such activities, and participants were invited to visit our Futsukaichi Office and General Life Science Station, so that they could make discoveries and feel the real wonder of them.
Corporations and school education, they used to be close but distant. In the days ahead, their close relationship is critical for the development of scientific and technological resources through these activities. We continue to cooperate with such activities as best we can.
